The recent India vs West Indies T20I match saw an extraordinary display of batting, with combined scores exceeding 500 runs. This marks only the second time in T20 International history that such a high total has been achieved. Former cricketer Gautam Gambhir has expressed significant concern over the impact of these high-scoring games on bowlers. He believes that the current trend of batsmen dominating matches poses a serious threat to the careers of bowlers, potentially leading to burnout and reduced longevity in the sport.
