West Bengal government employees can now access salary advances for emergencies like medical expenses and education through the new West Bengal Salary Advance Scheme. The finance department has introduced a digital platform offering both short-term advances, up to 50% of monthly salary repayable within 60 days, and multi-month advances for larger expenditures. This initiative aims to provide institutional financial support and reduce reliance on high-interest loans. The scheme covers all regular government employees from Groups A to D.

पश्चिम बंगाल के सरकारी कर्मचारी अब नई पश्चिम बंगाल सैलरी एडवांस स्कीम के ज़रिए मेडिकल खर्चों और शिक्षा जैसे आपातकालीन ज़रूरतों के लिए सैलरी एडवांस ले सकते हैं। वित्त विभाग ने एक डिजिटल प्लेटफॉर्म पेश किया है जो मासिक वेतन का 50% तक, 60 दिनों के भीतर चुकाने योग्य, अल्पकालिक एडवांस और बड़े खर्चों के लिए बहु-मासिक एडवांस दोनों प्रदान करता है। इस पहल का उद्देश्य संस्थागत वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान करना और उच्च-ब्याज वाले ऋणों पर निर्भरता कम करना है। यह स्कीम ग्रुप A से D तक के सभी नियमित सरकारी कर्मचारियों को कवर करती है।
