Airlines Demand Records From Adani Group On Mumbai Airport Consultations Since 2020
Business Standard · business
Airlines have requested the Adani group to provide records of all consultations regarding the redevelopment of Mumbai airport's Terminal 1 since 2020. This challenges the airport operator's assertion of ongoing extensive consultations. The Airline Operators Committee also seeks clarification on the basis for ordering airlines to shift 33% of international services to the new Navi Mumbai airport by October 25. Adani group stated safety concerns regarding the 60-year-old Terminal 1 building as the reason for the proposed shift. Airlines are demanding these documents before any comprehensive stakeholder consultation is held.
