Bengal CM Proposes Road Renaming For Kar Sevaks

West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari has proposed renaming a road in the state after the Kothari brothers, Ram and Sharad Kothari. The brothers were killed in police firing in Ayodhya in 1992 while participating in the Ram Janmabhoomi Movement as kar sevaks. Adhikari requested the Ram Sharad Kothari Smriti Sangh to suggest a suitable road for renaming. The Sangh's representative also requested the Chief Minister to consider renaming a metro station or installing a memorial. This move aims to honour their sacrifices and inspire future generations.

पश्चिम बंगाल की मुख्यमंत्री सुवेंदु अधिकारी ने राज्य में एक सड़क का नाम कोठारी बंधुओं, राम और शरद कोठारी के नाम पर रखने का प्रस्ताव दिया है। ये भाई 1992 में अयोध्या में पुलिस फायरिंग में मारे गए थे, जब वे कर सेवक के रूप में राम जन्मभूमि आंदोलन में भाग ले रहे थे। अधिकारी ने राम शरद कोठारी स्मृति संघ से नाम बदलने के लिए एक उपयुक्त सड़क का सुझाव देने का अनुरोध किया। संघ के प्रतिनिधि ने मुख्यमंत्री से मेट्रो स्टेशन का नाम बदलने या स्मारक स्थापित करने पर विचार करने का भी अनुरोध किया। इस कदम का उद्देश्य उनके बलिदानों का सम्मान करना और भविष्य की पीढ़ियों को प्रेरित करना है।
