Father-Son Duo Booked For Illegally Occupying Public Toilet Since 2022

A man and his son have been booked in Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh, for allegedly occupying a government-built community toilet for women since 2022. Despite repeated notices from the district administration, they refused to unlock the facility. The case was registered after the village head complained, alleging the duo abused and assaulted her and her husband when asked to open the toilet. The father-son duo also allegedly submitted a forged affidavit claiming no encroachment, which was denied by a villager whose thumb impression was used.

उत्तर प्रदेश के भदोही में एक आदमी और उसके बेटे पर 2022 से महिलाओं के लिए बने सरकारी सामुदायिक शौचालय पर कथित तौर पर कब्जा करने के लिए मामला दर्ज किया गया है। जिला प्रशासन की बार-बार की सूचनाओं के बावजूद, उन्होंने सुविधा को खोलने से इनकार कर दिया। शौचालय खोलने के लिए कहे जाने पर कथित तौर पर दोनों ने ग्राम प्रधान और उनके पति को गाली दी और मारपीट की, जिसके बाद ग्राम प्रधान की शिकायत पर मामला दर्ज किया गया। पिता-पुत्र पर कथित तौर पर एक जाली हलफनामा भी जमा किया गया था जिसमें अतिक्रमण से इनकार किया गया था, जिसे एक ग्रामीण ने खारिज कर दिया था जिसकी अंगूठे की छाप का इस्तेमाल किया गया था।
