Centre Notifies ₹1.28 Lakh Cr Semicon 2.0 Scheme

The Centre has officially notified the Semicon 2.0 scheme, allocating ₹1.28 Lakh Crore to boost India's semiconductor design and manufacturing capabilities. This initiative aims to significantly accelerate the development of the domestic semiconductor ecosystem. A key target of the scheme is to train and produce an additional one lakh chip engineers, addressing a critical skill gap in the rapidly growing technology sector.

केंद्र ने ₹1.28 लाख करोड़ की सेमीकॉन 2.0 योजना अधिसूचित की

सरकार ने सेमीकॉन 2.0 स्कीम का ऐलान कर दिया है। इसके तहत भारत में चिप बनाने और डिजाइन करने की क्षमता बढ़ाने के लिए ₹1.28 लाख करोड़ दिए जाएंगे। इस स्कीम का मकसद देश में सेमीकंडक्टर इकोसिस्टम को तेज़ी से आगे बढ़ाना है। एक बड़ा लक्ष्य यह भी है कि एक लाख और चिप इंजीनियर तैयार किए जाएं, ताकि बढ़ते टेक्नोलॉजी सेक्टर में हुनर की कमी पूरी हो सके।
