Ranchi Police to Use Drones, Watchtowers, CCTVs for Durga Puja Crowd Management

Ranchi and Khunti police are enhancing security for Durga Puja by deploying drones, watchtowers, and CCTV cameras to monitor crowds and deter criminal activity. Over 1,000 individuals have been served notices to ensure good behaviour during the festive period. Puja committees are instructed to install adequate CCTV cameras with sufficient storage, which will be monitored around the clock. The Shakti Commando unit will also be deployed to improve women's safety and prevent crimes targeting women. Police will maintain contact with community leaders and volunteers to ensure peace and communal harmony.

रांची और खूंटी पुलिस दुर्गा पूजा के लिए सुरक्षा बढ़ा रही है। इसके लिए ड्रोन, वॉचटावर और सीसीटीवी कैमरे लगाए जाएंगे ताकि भीड़ पर नज़र रखी जा सके और अपराध को रोका जा सके। 1,000 से ज़्यादा लोगों को त्योहार के दौरान अच्छा व्यवहार बनाए रखने के लिए नोटिस दिया गया है। पूजा समितियों को पर्याप्त स्टोरेज वाले सीसीटीवी कैमरे लगाने का निर्देश दिया गया है, जिन पर चौबीसों घंटे निगरानी रखी जाएगी। महिलाओं की सुरक्षा बढ़ाने और महिलाओं को निशाना बनाने वाले अपराधों को रोकने के लिए शक्ति कमांडो यूनिट को भी तैनात किया जाएगा। पुलिस शांति और सांप्रदायिक सद्भाव सुनिश्चित करने के लिए सामुदायिक नेताओं और स्वयंसेवकों के साथ संपर्क बनाए रखेगी।
