MOEX Index Opens Higher, Then Declines

Russia's MOEX and RTS indices saw an initial rise of 0.29% and 0.29% respectively, opening at 2,343.92 and 876.56 points. However, by 9:23 a.m. Moscow time, both indices had dipped into negative territory, down by 0.02%. The yuan's exchange rate against the ruble also experienced fluctuations, initially losing 0.95 kopecks before narrowing its losses. The Moscow Exchange recently extended its main trading session by one hour, now lasting 10 hours.
