Women are creatively rebelling against boring, functional tech by building personalized cyberdecks, inspired by YouTube tutorials and Reddit communities. These custom-built mini-computers, often powered by Raspberry Pi, are fitted into everyday objects like compact mirrors and dollhouses to perform specific tasks. This movement allows women to express themselves through technology, challenging the male-dominated tech industry. For many, seeing other women succeed in building these unique gadgets makes the process feel more accessible, even without an engineering background.
