Kerala CM Satheesan Leads Children Into Formal Learning On Vijayadashami

Hundreds of children in Kerala began their formal education on Vijayadashami, marking the auspicious occasion of 'Vidyarambham'. Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan participated in the ceremony in Kochi, guiding approximately 25 young children to write 'Harishree' in Malayalam on rice platters. This traditional initiation into learning took place at the MLA office in Paravur, Ernakulam. Across the state, various prominent figures, including writers and thinkers, also guided children into the world of letters at temples and cultural institutions.
