Supreme Court stays Madras HC cow slaughter ban

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने तमिलनाडु में गाय और बछड़े के वध पर मद्रास हाई कोर्ट की रोक पर फिलहाल रोक लगा दी है। हाई कोर्ट ने पहले कहा था कि गाय का वध इस्लाम में कोई ज़रूरी धार्मिक प्रथा नहीं है। इस रोक से मामले पर आगे विचार किया जाएगा, जिसका असर राज्य में धार्मिक प्रथाओं और पशु कल्याण पर पड़ेगा।
