Unidentified attackers posted cryptocurrency promotions for nearly 24 hours before the account was restored by police cyber experts. The breach caused embarrassment during Durga Puja festivities, as citizens relied on the account for essential updates. Authorities are strengthening digital security protocols to prevent future incidents and are analyzing technical data to identify the perpetrators. The investigation is challenging due to the potential use of anonymizing tools by the hackers.
