Judge N.V. Vijay Highlights Police's Indispensable Role In Public Safety

Principal District and Sessions Judge N.V. Vijay stated that police personnel are crucial for ensuring public safety and enabling peaceful lives. Speaking at Police Commemoration Day in Hubballi, he acknowledged their round-the-clock work managing traffic and maintaining law and order, often impacting their health. The event honored police martyrs, commemorating 10 officers killed in a 1959 Chinese attack. In the past year, 154 police personnel nationwide, including five in Karnataka, died in the line of duty. The judge also recognized the vital support provided by the families of police personnel.

प्रधान जिला एवं सत्र न्यायाधीश एन.वी. विजय ने कहा कि पुलिसकर्मी सार्वजनिक सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने और शांतिपूर्ण जीवन को संभव बनाने के लिए महत्वपूर्ण हैं। हुबली में पुलिस स्मरणोत्सव दिवस पर बोलते हुए, उन्होंने यातायात प्रबंधन और कानून व्यवस्था बनाए रखने में उनके चौबीसों घंटे के काम को स्वीकार किया, जिसका अक्सर उनके स्वास्थ्य पर असर पड़ता है। इस कार्यक्रम में 1959 में चीनी हमले में मारे गए 10 अधिकारियों की याद में पुलिस शहीदों को श्रद्धांजलि दी गई। पिछले साल, कर्नाटक में पांच सहित देशभर में 154 पुलिसकर्मियों ने ड्यूटी के दौरान जान गंवाई। न्यायाधीश ने पुलिसकर्मियों के परिवारों द्वारा प्रदान किए गए महत्वपूर्ण समर्थन को भी पहचाना।
