VMC is preparing to gift a 978 square meter plot of land, valued at ₹20.53 crore, to former cricketer Yusuf Pathan. This decision follows a 14-year dispute over the land adjacent to Pathan's bungalow. The VMC Standing Committee, comprising all BJP corporators, approved a proposal to gift 500 square meters for free and sell the remaining 478 square meters at a subsidized rate of 55% of the market price.

VMC पूर्व क्रिकेटर यूसुफ पठान को ₹20.53 करोड़ की कीमत वाली 978 वर्ग मीटर ज़मीन तोहफे में देने की तैयारी कर रहा है। यह फैसला पठान के बंगले के बगल वाली ज़मीन पर 14 साल से चल रहे विवाद के बाद आया है। VMC की स्टैंडिंग कमेटी, जिसमें सभी बीजेपी कॉर्पोरेटर शामिल हैं, ने 500 वर्ग मीटर ज़मीन मुफ्त में देने और बाकी 478 वर्ग मीटर ज़मीन बाज़ार भाव से 55% की रियायती दर पर बेचने के प्रस्ताव को मंज़ूरी दे दी है।
