Patna Municipal Corporation Collects Over Rs 3 Crore Property Tax on Last Penalty-Free Day

PMC collected a record Rs 3.61 crore in property tax on Wednesday, the last penalty-free day. Over 1,900 properties cleared their dues, marking the highest single-day collection this financial year. The New Capital Circle contributed the most, with Rs 2.08 crore collected from 397 properties. PMC also expanded its tax base by adding 303 new properties and reassessing 81 others. This record collection was part of a special drive to boost revenue and increase the number of assessed properties in the city.

बुधवार को पेनल्टी-फ्री दिन के आखिरी दिन पटना नगर निगम (PMC) ने रिकॉर्ड 3.61 करोड़ रुपये प्रॉपर्टी टैक्स वसूला। 1,900 से ज़्यादा प्रॉपर्टीज़ ने अपना बकाया चुकाया, जो इस वित्तीय वर्ष में एक दिन की सबसे ज़्यादा कलेक्शन है। न्यू कैपिटल सर्कल ने सबसे ज़्यादा 2.08 करोड़ रुपये का योगदान दिया, जो 397 प्रॉपर्टीज़ से वसूले गए। PMC ने 303 नई प्रॉपर्टीज़ जोड़कर और 81 प्रॉपर्टीज़ का फिर से मूल्यांकन करके अपना टैक्स बेस भी बढ़ाया। यह रिकॉर्ड कलेक्शन शहर में रेवेन्यू बढ़ाने और आंकी गई प्रॉपर्टीज़ की संख्या बढ़ाने के एक खास अभियान का हिस्सा था।
