The CBI has arrested a PNB peon, Deepanshi, in Greater Noida for allegedly defrauding customers of Rs 10.24 crore. Deepanshi, a B.Tech graduate, is accused of using other employees' login credentials to transfer funds from customer accounts, particularly those who received land compensation. She reportedly intercepted customers outside the bank, preventing them from noticing the fraudulent transactions. Another individual, Ashutosh Pathak, has also been arrested in connection with the case, with investigations ongoing to identify other potential bank staff involvement.

सीबीआई ने ग्रेटर नोएडा में पीएनबी की चपरासी दीपांशी को 10.24 करोड़ रुपये की ग्राहकों से धोखाधड़ी के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया है। दीपांशी, जो बी.टेक ग्रेजुएट है, पर आरोप है कि उसने अन्य कर्मचारियों के लॉगिन क्रेडेंशियल का इस्तेमाल करके ग्राहकों के खातों से पैसे ट्रांसफर किए, खासकर उन ग्राहकों से जिन्हें जमीन का मुआवजा मिला था। उसने कथित तौर पर ग्राहकों को बैंक के बाहर रोका ताकि वे धोखाधड़ी वाले लेनदेन पर ध्यान न दें। एक अन्य व्यक्ति, आशुतोष पाठक को भी इस मामले में गिरफ्तार किया गया है, और अन्य संभावित बैंक कर्मचारियों की संलिप्तता का पता लगाने के लिए जांच जारी है।
