A homeless patient in Pune fell from a moving ambulance while being transferred between hospitals. The incident, captured on video, sparked public outrage. The Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial Hospital has suspended the ambulance driver and ward boy pending an inquiry. The hospital also warned the private contractor employing the staff against negligence and stressed adherence to patient safety protocols. The patient, who had been missing for two weeks, was reunited with his family after his son saw the viral video.

पुणे में एक बेघर मरीज़ अस्पतालों के बीच ले जाते समय चलती एम्बुलेंस से गिर गया। इस घटना का वीडियो वायरल होने के बाद लोगों में ग़ुस्सा है। यशंवतराव चव्हाण मेमोरियल अस्पताल ने जांच लंबित रहने तक एम्बुलेंस ड्राइवर और वार्ड बॉय को निलंबित कर दिया है। अस्पताल ने कर्मचारियों को नियुक्त करने वाले निजी ठेकेदार को भी लापरवाही के खिलाफ चेतावनी दी और मरीज़ों की सुरक्षा के नियमों का पालन करने पर ज़ोर दिया। दो हफ़्तों से लापता मरीज़ को उसके बेटे ने वायरल वीडियो देखने के बाद परिवार से मिला दिया गया।
