सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने CBI और ट्रायल कोर्ट को मणिपुर यौन हिंसा मामले में दो अहम पीड़ित-गवाहों की पेशी और जांच सुनिश्चित करने का निर्देश दिया है। दो आरोपियों की जमानत रद्द करने की सुनवाई के दौरान, बेंच ने त्वरित मुकदमे की कार्यवाही पर जोर दिया। CBI को निर्देश दिया गया कि वह सुनिश्चित करे कि पीड़ित-गवाह ट्रायल कोर्ट द्वारा तय तारीखों पर पेश हों, भले ही इस बात की चिंता हो कि जमानत पर बाहर आरोपी गवाही देने से रोक सकते हैं। अदालत ने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि गवाहों की सुरक्षा अधिकारियों का कर्तव्य है और गवाहों की जांच के बाद जमानत पर पुनर्विचार किया जाएगा।
