An 82-year-old man, Devidin, was found hanging from a tree in Kanpur's Gopalpurwa village on Wednesday night. He had gone missing after a heated argument with his 70-year-old wife, Sundara, on Monday. His younger son, Banshilal, discovered the body two days after Devidin left home without informing anyone. The family had been searching for him since he failed to return. Police have sent the body for a postmortem examination and will take further action based on a family complaint.

कानपुर के गोपालपुरवा गांव में बुधवार रात एक 82 साल के बुजुर्ग देवदीन का शव पेड़ से लटका मिला। वह सोमवार को अपनी 70 साल की पत्नी सुंदरा से तीखी बहस के बाद लापता हो गए थे। देवदीन के घर से किसी को बताए बिना जाने के दो दिन बाद उनके छोटे बेटे बंशीलाल ने शव खोजा। जब से देवदीन घर नहीं लौटे थे, परिवार उनकी तलाश कर रहा था। पुलिस ने शव को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया है और परिवार की शिकायत के आधार पर आगे की कार्रवाई करेगी।
