Woman Duped Of ₹26 Lakh By Gang Promising Husband's Bail

A 42-year-old woman in Rajkot has been defrauded of Rs 26 lakh by a group who claimed they could secure her husband's bail. Her husband was arrested in connection with an alleged embezzlement of Rs 2 crore in Gondal. The accused demanded the money, stating it would be used to bribe police, court, and jail officials. Despite assurances, the husband was not released, leading the woman to suspect foul play. When she began investigating, the accused allegedly threatened her with dire consequences if she reported the matter.

पति की जमानत दिलाने का झांसा देकर महिला से ठगे ₹26 लाख

राजकोट में 42 साल की एक महिला से 26 लाख रुपये की ठगी हुई है। एक गैंग ने उससे कहा था कि वे उसके पति की जमानत करवा देंगे। उसके पति को गोंडल में 2 करोड़ रुपये के कथित गबन के मामले में गिरफ्तार किया गया था। आरोपियों ने पैसे मांगे थे और कहा था कि यह पुलिस, कोर्ट और जेल अधिकारियों को रिश्वत देने के लिए इस्तेमाल होगा। भरोसा दिलाने के बावजूद पति को रिहा नहीं किया गया, जिससे महिला को शक हुआ। जब उसने जांच शुरू की, तो कथित तौर पर आरोपियों ने उसे मामला रिपोर्ट करने पर गंभीर परिणाम भुगतने की धमकी दी।
