China to Resume October Fuel Exports After Brief Halt
The Hindu - International · world
China is set to resume its refined fuel exports for October after a brief pause during the Golden Week holiday. This move is expected to help alleviate pressure on tight global fuel markets. Trade sources indicate that China has approved approximately 3.7 million metric tons of diesel, gasoline, and jet fuel for export this month. Previously, China had curbed fuel exports starting in March to ensure domestic supply due to disruptions in crude oil flows, but had eased these controls from July to September.
