Bhopal University Opposes Helicopter Joy Rides On Sports

Barkatullah University (BU) in Bhopal is strongly opposing a proposal to use its historic sports ground for helicopter joy rides. The university administration, students, and athletes fear this could severely impact sports development, as the ground has nurtured over two dozen international athletes. BU officials have conveyed their inability to permit such activities, citing the ground's importance for training in various sports. Students plan to submit a memorandum seeking protection for the ground and an alternative site for helicopter operations.

भोपाल की बरकतउल्ला यूनिवर्सिटी (बीयू) ऐतिहासिक खेल मैदान पर हेलीकॉप्टर जॉय राइड के प्रस्ताव का कड़ा विरोध कर रही है। यूनिवर्सिटी प्रशासन, छात्रों और खिलाड़ियों को डर है कि इससे खेल विकास पर गंभीर असर पड़ सकता है, क्योंकि इस मैदान ने दो दर्जन से ज़्यादा अंतरराष्ट्रीय खिलाड़ियों को तैयार किया है। बीयू अधिकारियों ने विभिन्न खेलों में प्रशिक्षण के लिए मैदान के महत्व का हवाला देते हुए ऐसी गतिविधियों की अनुमति देने में अपनी असमर्थता जताई है। छात्र मैदान की सुरक्षा और हेलीकॉप्टर संचालन के लिए वैकल्पिक स्थल की मांग करते हुए एक ज्ञापन सौंपने की योजना बना रहे हैं।
