Ahmedabad Civic Body Allows On-Spot Tree Trimming Fee Payments

Ahmedabad residents can now pay charges for tree trimming services on the spot, eliminating the need to visit civic centres. AMC has enabled online payment after a complaint, integrating a collection module into its Tree Trimming and Green Waste Collection policy. This facility aims to prevent inconvenience to citizens. The AMC also reviewed water tank cleaning, with 96 out of 243 tanks cleaned as per schedule. Additionally, two plots in Motera and Ognaj allotted to UGVCL are being repossessed due to non-payment and stalled construction.

अहमदाबाद के निवासी अब पेड़ छांटने की सेवाओं के लिए मौके पर ही शुल्क का भुगतान कर सकते हैं, जिससे नागरिक केंद्रों पर जाने की आवश्यकता समाप्त हो गई है। एक शिकायत के बाद AMC ने ऑनलाइन भुगतान की सुविधा शुरू की है, जिसमें इसकी ट्री ट्रिमिंग और ग्रीन वेस्ट कलेक्शन नीति में एक कलेक्शन मॉड्यूल जोड़ा गया है। इस सुविधा का उद्देश्य नागरिकों को असुविधा से बचाना है। AMC ने पानी की टंकियों की सफाई की भी समीक्षा की, जिसमें निर्धारित समय के अनुसार 243 में से 96 टंकियों की सफाई की गई।
