Tata Elxsi Reports 10% Profit Rise to Rs 170 Crore in Q2

Tata Elxsi announced a 10% year-on-year increase in net profit for the September quarter, reaching Rs 170 crore. This growth was driven by a 15% rise in revenue to Rs 1,056 crore. However, profit growth lagged revenue expansion due to increased employee and operating expenses. For the six-month period, net profit climbed 14% to Rs 341 crore. The company's profit before tax margin slightly decreased to 22.7% compared to the previous year.
