Minister Accuses CM Shivakumar of Illegal Land Deals

Union Industries Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy has accused Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar and his family of illegally acquiring land around Bengaluru notified for the Bengaluru-Mysuru Infrastructure Corridor Project. Kumaraswamy alleged that Shivakumar, as Urban Development Minister in 2004, modified the project framework to benefit himself and his family. He presented land records showing Shivakumar, his parents, daughter, and brother acquiring approximately 22 acres within the project area. Kumaraswamy claimed Shivakumar's wealth grew significantly due to these alleged deals, estimating the total fraud at ₹3 lakh crore.

केंद्रीय उद्योग मंत्री एच.डी. कुमारस्वामी ने मुख्यमंत्री डी.के. शिवकुमार और उनके परिवार पर बेंगलुरु-मैसूरु इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर कॉरिडोर प्रोजेक्ट के लिए अधिसूचित बेंगलुरु के आसपास की ज़मीन को अवैध रूप से हासिल करने का आरोप लगाया है। कुमारस्वामी ने आरोप लगाया कि शिवकुमार ने 2004 में शहरी विकास मंत्री के तौर पर खुद को और अपने परिवार को फायदा पहुंचाने के लिए प्रोजेक्ट की रूपरेखा बदली थी। उन्होंने ज़मीन के ऐसे रिकॉर्ड पेश किए जिनमें शिवकुमार, उनके माता-पिता, बेटी और भाई ने प्रोजेक्ट क्षेत्र के अंदर लगभग 22 एकड़ ज़मीन हासिल की थी। कुमारस्वामी ने दावा किया कि इन कथित सौदों के कारण शिवकुमार की संपत्ति में काफी वृद्धि हुई, और उन्होंने कुल धोखाधड़ी का अनुमान ₹3 लाख करोड़ लगाया।
