Delhi Air Quality Worsens, Stage-I GRAP Measures Activated Across NCR

Delhi's air quality has sharply deteriorated, prompting the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) to implement GRAP across the National Capital Region (NCR). The Air Quality Index (AQI) rose from moderate to poor, prompting the invocation of measures effective immediately. These include mechanized road sweeping, water sprinkling, and stricter monitoring of construction activities. The plan also restricts older diesel and petrol vehicles and mandates clean fuels for buses entering the NCR.

दिल्ली की हवा की क्वालिटी बहुत खराब हो गई है, इसलिए Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) ने पूरे National Capital Region (NCR) में GRAP लागू कर दिया है। Air Quality Index (AQI) मॉडरेट से पुअर हो गया है, जिसके बाद तुरंत उपाय लागू किए गए हैं। इनमें सड़कों की मशीनों से सफाई, पानी का छिड़काव और कंस्ट्रक्शन साइट्स पर कड़ी निगरानी शामिल है। इस प्लान में पुराने डीजल और पेट्रोल वाहनों पर रोक और NCR में आने वाली बसों के लिए क्लीन फ्यूल का इस्तेमाल भी जरूरी किया गया है।
