A woman has filed a racial discrimination lawsuit in Queens, New York City, after a realtor accidentally marked her in a racist text message. Lisa Renee Olaso and her fiancé were looking for a rental home when the broker sent a message to the property owner stating, 'Ugh. They are Black.' Olaso explained that the broker then cited previous Black tenants causing trouble as a reason for their concern. The couple is suing the realtor's company, Douglas Elliman, and the property owners.
