Railway Official Dismissed Over ₹70,000 Bribe Demand For Transfer

An office superintendent with North Central Railway has been dismissed from service after being accused of demanding a ₹70,000 bribe. The bribe was allegedly sought from an assistant Loco Pilot couple to facilitate the transfer of the wife to Prayagraj. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had registered a case and arrested the official, Rajendra Mani Tripathi, along with another accused, APO Arvind Kumar. While Tripathi has been dismissed for bringing disrepute, departmental proceedings against Kumar are ongoing.

नॉर्थ सेंट्रल रेलवे के एक ऑफिस सुपरिटेंडेंट को ₹70,000 की रिश्वत मांगने के आरोप में सेवा से बर्खास्त कर दिया गया है। यह रिश्वत कथित तौर पर एक असिस्टेंट लोको पायलट दंपति से पत्नी के प्रयागराज ट्रांसफर में मदद करने के लिए मांगी गई थी। सेंट्रल ब्यूरो ऑफ इन्वेस्टिगेशन (CBI) ने मामला दर्ज कर अधिकारी राजेंद्र मणि त्रिपाठी को एक अन्य आरोपी APO अरविंद कुमार के साथ गिरफ्तार किया था। त्रिपाठी को बदनाम करने के लिए बर्खास्त किया गया है, जबकि कुमार के खिलाफ विभागीय कार्यवाही जारी है।
