SDPI Protests in Coimbatore Demanding Election Commissioner's Resignation

The Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) staged a protest in Coimbatore, demanding the immediate resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and greater transparency within the Election Commission of India. Party spokesman V M Abuthahir alleged that the CEC's decisions were politically influenced and undermined public trust in the electoral process. Protesters called for transparency in appointing commissioners, details on EVM software, and clarity on voter list revisions. They also sought an explanation for the exclusion of eligible voters in Goa.

सोशल डेमोक्रेटिक पार्टी ऑफ इंडिया (SDPI) ने कोयंबटूर में प्रदर्शन किया। उन्होंने मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त ज्ञान प्रकाश और चुनाव आयोग में अधिक पारदर्शिता की तत्काल इस्तीफे की मांग की। पार्टी के प्रवक्ता वी एम अबुथाहिर ने आरोप लगाया कि सीईसी के फैसले राजनीतिक रूप से प्रभावित थे और चुनावी प्रक्रिया में जनता के विश्वास को कम किया। प्रदर्शनकारियों ने आयुक्तों की नियुक्ति में पारदर्शिता, ईवीएम सॉफ्टवेयर का विवरण और मतदाता सूची संशोधनों पर स्पष्टता की मांग की। उन्होंने गोवा में योग्य मतदाताओं के बहिष्कार के लिए स्पष्टीकरण भी मांगा।
