Traders from Khan Market, Connaught Place, and other areas have approached the Supreme Court and written to the Delhi Lieutenant Governor demanding that Jantar Mantar be removed from the list of regular protest sites. They argue that ongoing demonstrations severely disrupt businesses, affect public movement, and pose security risks due to road closures and traffic diversions. The traders highlighted specific past protests that led to early shop closures and business losses.

खान मार्केट, कनॉट प्लेस और अन्य इलाकों के व्यापारियों ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट का रुख किया है और दिल्ली के उपराज्यपाल को पत्र लिखकर जंतर मंतर को नियमित विरोध स्थलों की सूची से हटाने की मांग की है। उनका तर्क है कि लगातार हो रहे प्रदर्शनों से व्यापार में भारी बाधा आती है, लोगों की आवाजाही प्रभावित होती है और सड़क बंद होने व ट्रैफिक डायवर्जन के कारण सुरक्षा जोखिम पैदा होते हैं। व्यापारियों ने विशेष रूप से पिछले उन प्रदर्शनों का उल्लेख किया जिनके कारण दुकानें जल्दी बंद करनी पड़ीं और व्यापार में नुकसान हुआ।
