Five Arrested for Routing Rs 4 Crore in Cyber Fraud Via Mule Accounts

Police have arrested five individuals in Gorakhpur for operating a cyber fraud syndicate that channeled over Rs 4.09 crore through mule bank accounts and converted the funds into cryptocurrency. The accused lured individuals by promising commissions to use their bank accounts for routing illicit money from scams nationwide. Authorities seized cash, a luxury car, and numerous ATM cards and cheque books during the operation. Investigations revealed the gang collected bank details from unsuspecting people, promising a 20% commission, and facilitated transactions across multiple states.

गोरखपुर में पुलिस ने एक साइबर धोखाधड़ी सिंडिकेट का भंडाफोड़ करते हुए पांच लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया है। यह सिंडिकेट देश भर से हो रहे घोटालों से ₹4.09 करोड़ से ज़्यादा की रकम को खंगालने के लिए मज़ल बैंक खातों का इस्तेमाल कर रहा था और फिर उसे क्रिप्टोकरेंसी में बदल रहा था। पकड़े गए आरोपियों ने लोगों को कमीशन का लालच देकर उनके बैंक खातों का इस्तेमाल अवैध पैसे को ट्रांसफर करने के लिए किया। पुलिस ने तलाशी के दौरान नकदी, एक लग्जरी कार, कई एटीएम कार्ड और चेकबुक भी जब्त की हैं।
