Trichy Residents Demand Basic Amenities From Corporation

Over 200 residents of Kallangadu Kulumayi Amman Nagar in Trichy have petitioned the corporation for essential facilities. They highlighted the lack of a concrete road, public toilet, and piped water supply in their locality. The residents stated the road has been in poor condition for a decade, and the absence of a public toilet forces women and children to use scrubland. They also pointed out the need to walk a kilometre for water and requested groundwater storage facilities.
