A 27-year-old financial influencer with 1.3 million followers died by suicide in Chennai, allegedly due to cyberbullying and defamatory social media posts. V Harish was found hanging in his rented villa after his online channels were repeatedly reported and blocked. His father lodged a complaint alleging that another influencer, Jason Samuel, subjected Harish to sustained cyberbullying, threats, and accusations of fraud. Harish had reportedly recorded a video before his death, blaming Samuel for his decision. Police are investigating the unnatural death and examining statements from both sides.
