Kupwara Man Faces Two Chargesheets For Fraud And Impersonation Cases

The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Jammu and Kashmir crime branch has filed two chargesheets against Abdul Majeed Mir from Kupwara. Mir is accused of cheating job aspirants by impersonating government officials and collecting substantial amounts of money. In one case, he allegedly took ₹2.10 lakh on the false promise of providing employment with the Airport Authority of India. In another, he collected around ₹60 lakh by impersonating a duty officer to the J&K lieutenant governor, offering fake government jobs and land allotments.

जम्मू और कश्मीर क्राइम ब्रांच के इकोनॉमिक ऑफेंसेस विंग (EOW) ने कुपवाड़ा के अब्दुल मजीद मीर के खिलाफ दो चार्जशीट दाखिल की हैं। मीर पर सरकारी अधिकारियों का रूप धारण कर नौकरी चाहने वालों से धोखाधड़ी करने और बड़ी रकम वसूलने का आरोप है। एक मामले में, उस पर एयरपोर्ट अथॉरिटी ऑफ इंडिया में नौकरी दिलाने के झूठे वादे पर ₹2.10 लाख लेने का आरोप है। दूसरे मामले में, उसने जम्मू-कश्मीर के उपराज्यपाल के ड्यूटी ऑफिसर बनकर, फर्जी सरकारी नौकरियां और जमीन आवंटन का वादा करके करीब ₹60 लाख वसूले।
