Delhi-NCR Prepares for Pollution Attack with Multi-Source Action Plan

Delhi-NCR is proactively preparing for the annual air pollution surge, moving beyond reactive measures. The plan targets multiple pollution sources simultaneously, including road dust, vehicular emissions, construction, factories, and stubble burning. Recent discussions between UP CM Yogi Adityanath and Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav focused on improving air quality in NCR districts. Mechanical deep cleaning of roads using machines will be implemented in eight UP NCR districts to prevent fine dust from becoming airborne. Delhi will deploy 30 electric sweeping machines for smaller roads.

दिल्ली-एनसीआर सालाना होने वाले वायु प्रदूषण के बढ़त से निपटने के लिए सक्रिय रूप से तैयारी कर रहा है, अब सिर्फ प्रतिक्रिया करने के बजाय। इस योजना का लक्ष्य एक साथ कई प्रदूषण स्रोतों पर है, जिसमें सड़क की धूल, वाहनों से निकलने वाला धुआं, निर्माण कार्य, कारखाने और पराली जलाना शामिल है। हाल ही में यूपी के सीएम योगी आदित्यनाथ और केंद्रीय पर्यावरण मंत्री भूपेंद्र यादव के बीच हुई चर्चाओं में एनसीआर जिलों में हवा की गुणवत्ता में सुधार पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया गया। यूपी के आठ एनसीआर जिलों में सड़कों की मशीनों से गहरी सफाई की जाएगी ताकि महीन धूल हवा में न उड़े। दिल्ली में छोटी सड़कों के लिए 30 इलेक्ट्रिक स्वीपिंग मशीनें तैनात की जाएंगी।
