Bihar JD(U) Rules Out Liquor Law Review

The Janata Dal (United) party has stated there is no possibility of reviewing Bihar's liquor prohibition law. This law, known as the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, was put into effect in April 2016. It enforces a complete ban on the manufacture, sale, and consumption of alcohol across the state.

जनता दल (यूनाइटेड) पार्टी ने साफ कहा है कि बिहार में शराबबंदी कानून की समीक्षा की कोई गुंजाइश नहीं है। यह कानून, जिसे बिहार मद्यनिषेध और उत्पाद शुल्क अधिनियम के नाम से जाना जाता है, अप्रैल 2016 में लागू हुआ था। इसके तहत पूरे राज्य में शराब बनाने, बेचने और पीने पर पूरी तरह रोक है।
