Professor Manisha Mishra Agnihotri has emphasized the critical role of professional historians in disseminating accurate historical information, contrasting their rigorous research methods with the unverified claims often spread on platforms like WhatsApp. Her new book, which examines Hindu religion in medieval India through the works of Abul Fazl, 'Mobad', and Dara Shikoh, was launched at a two-day international conference in New Delhi. The book explores how Persian scholars perceived Hindu traditions during that era. Professor Mishra also noted that the term 'Hindu' was first used in the 15th century.
