UP Health Minister Asks Doctors To Write Prescriptions

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak has urged doctors across the state to write medicine and diagnostic test names in Hindi or the Devanagari script on prescriptions. Pathak believes this will help patients better understand their treatment instructions and improve adherence to medical advice. The appeal, linked to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya's birth anniversary, aims to promote Indian languages in healthcare settings. He also encouraged doctors to communicate with patients in their mother tongue to strengthen trust and improve health outcomes.

उत्तर प्रदेश के उप-मुख्यमंत्री ब्रजेश पाठक ने राज्य के सभी डॉक्टरों से कहा है कि वे पर्चे पर दवाओं और जांचों के नाम हिंदी या देवनागरी लिपि में लिखें। उनका मानना है कि इससे मरीज़ अपने इलाज को बेहतर समझ पाएंगे और डॉक्टर की सलाह का पालन करेंगे। पंडित दीनदयाल उपाध्याय की जयंती के मौके पर की गई इस अपील का मकसद स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं में भारतीय भाषाओं को बढ़ावा देना है। उन्होंने डॉक्टरों को मरीज़ों से उनकी मातृभाषा में बात करने के लिए भी प्रोत्साहित किया।
