However, Additional Sessions Judge Sameer Bajpai decided not to cancel his bail, as he was scheduled to surrender later that evening. Imam had been granted seven days of bail to attend his cousins' wedding, with a condition not to contact the media or use social media. The prosecution presented video evidence showing Imam present when his brother gave an interview to ANI, arguing he was aware of the filming.
