Artha Bharat Investment Managers is relocating two of its funds, managing over $800 million in assets, from ADGM. The move is driven by tax uncertainty and compliance burdens in GIFT City, including disallowed tax deductions and issues with withholding tax. The firm aims to attract a wider investor base in ADGM with a lower minimum ticket size. This relocation is not a complete exit from GIFT City, as other funds will continue to be managed from there, providing support services.

अर्था भारत इन्वेस्टमेंट मैनेजर्स अपने 800 मिलियन डॉलर से ज़्यादा की संपत्ति वाले दो फंड ADGM से हटा रही है। यह कदम गिफ्ट सिटी में टैक्स की अनिश्चितता और अनुपालन के बोझ के कारण उठाया जा रहा है, जिसमें टैक्स कटौती की अनुमति न मिलना और विदहोल्डिंग टैक्स की समस्याएँ शामिल हैं। कंपनी का लक्ष्य ADGM में कम न्यूनतम टिकट साइज़ के साथ ज़्यादा निवेशकों को आकर्षित करना है। यह गिफ्ट सिटी से पूरी तरह बाहर निकलना नहीं है, क्योंकि अन्य फंडों का प्रबंधन वहीं से जारी रहेगा और वे सहायता सेवाएँ प्रदान करेंगे।
