Andhra Pradesh has significantly boosted its green cover, adding 2,234.15 acres of greenery across industrial premises in just three months. This brings the total green area within 2,913 industrial units to 27,384.34 acres, reflecting a strong effort to balance industrial expansion with environmental protection. The Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board is actively encouraging industries to develop and maintain greenbelts, aiming for ecological balance and reduced pollution.
