Economic Times Markets · stocks

Asian Paints reported a 7% year-on-year jump in consolidated net profit to Rs 1,068 crore for Q2 FY27, with revenue up 17% to Rs 9,977 crore. Despite this, several brokerages, including Jefferies and Goldman Sachs, have reduced their target prices for the company's shares. Jefferies maintained a 'Buy' rating but lowered its target to Rs 3,025, while Goldman Sachs kept a 'Sell' rating and cut its target to Rs 2,375. The company cited raw material inflation and geopolitical disruptions impacting margins, leading to calibrated price increases.
