AIIMS Bathinda has enhanced its cancer care services by establishing a dedicated peritoneal cancer unit. This new unit is equipped with an advanced HIPEC facility, featuring the RanD Performer 3 HIPEC System for hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy. The unit will offer cytoreductive surgery combined with HIPEC for patients with peritoneal surface malignancies, including certain colorectal, appendiceal, and ovarian cancers that have spread.
