IAF Rescues 12 Stranded On Hut Roof

The Indian Air Force successfully airlifted twelve people, including women and children, who were stranded on the roof of a hut as floodwaters of the Indravati river rose above the danger mark. The rescue operation took place near Dongaghat village in Bastar district following heavy rains. Over 1,000 people have been evacuated to relief camps in the district. The Indravati river had risen to 12.56 metres, significantly above its danger level. The administration has established 43 relief camps to provide shelter and supplies to flood-affected individuals.

भारतीय वायु सेना ने इन्द्रावती नदी के खतरे के निशान से ऊपर बहने के कारण एक झोपड़ी की छत पर फंसे बारह लोगों, जिनमें महिलाएं और बच्चे भी शामिल थे, को सफलतापूर्वक airlift किया। यह बचाव अभियान भारी बारिश के बाद बस्तर जिले के डोंगाघाट गांव के पास हुआ। जिले में राहत शिविरों में 1,000 से अधिक लोगों को निकाला गया है। इन्द्रावती नदी 12.56 मीटर तक बढ़ गई थी, जो खतरे के स्तर से काफी ऊपर है। प्रशासन ने बाढ़ प्रभावित व्यक्तियों को आश्रय और आपूर्ति प्रदान करने के लिए 43 राहत शिविर स्थापित किए हैं।
