Trichy MP Seeks Alternative Roads For 3 Villages Amid Airport Expansion

Trichy Member of Parliament Durai Vaiko has requested the district administration to secure alternative road access for residents of Keezhakurichi, Nathamadipatti, and Mudukkupatti. These villages face potential isolation due to the Trichy airport's expansion project, which has completed nearly 99% of land acquisition. The MP has urged the district collector to propose developing an alternative road on defence land to ensure continued connectivity for the villagers. Additionally, a request for a subway or underpass for Keezhakurichi has been submitted to the Union Civil Aviation Ministry.

तिरुचि के सांसद दुरई वाइको ने जिला प्रशासन से कीझक्कुरिची, नथमदिपट्टी और मुडुक्कुपट्टी गांवों के निवासियों के लिए वैकल्पिक सड़क पहुंच सुरक्षित करने का अनुरोध किया है। तिरुचि हवाई अड्डे के विस्तार परियोजना के कारण इन गांवों को संभावित अलगाव का सामना करना पड़ रहा है, जिसमें भूमि अधिग्रहण का लगभग 99% काम पूरा हो चुका है। सांसद ने जिला कलेक्टर से रक्षा भूमि पर एक वैकल्पिक सड़क विकसित करने का प्रस्ताव देने का आग्रह किया है ताकि ग्रामीणों के लिए निरंतर संपर्क सुनिश्चित हो सके। इसके अतिरिक्त, कीझक्कुरिची के लिए एक सबवे या अंडरपास का अनुरोध केंद्रीय नागरिक उड्डयन मंत्रालय को प्रस्तुत किया गया है।
