BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has raised concerns about Elon Musk's Starlink satellite internet service, stating that security agencies face challenges from its entry into India. He claimed that the defence, home ministries, and investigation agencies are being affected by potential threats. Dubey criticized Musk's remarks about competition, suggesting India's security policy is not swayed by financial pressure. The government previously noted that all three satcom license applicants, including Starlink, Eutelsat OneWeb, and Reliance Jio, must obtain security clearances. Dubey implied that Eutelsat OneWeb and Jio might receive approvals before Starlink.

बीजेपी सांसद निशिकांत दुबे ने एलन मस्क की स्टारलिंक सैटेलाइट इंटरनेट सेवा को लेकर चिंता जताई है, उन्होंने कहा कि इसके भारत में प्रवेश से सुरक्षा एजेंसियों को चुनौतियां मिल रही हैं। उन्होंने दावा किया कि रक्षा, गृह मंत्रालय और जांच एजेंसियां संभावित खतरों से प्रभावित हो रही हैं। दुबे ने मस्क की प्रतिस्पर्धा पर की गई टिप्पणियों की आलोचना की, यह सुझाव देते हुए कि भारत की सुरक्षा नीति वित्तीय दबाव से प्रभावित नहीं होती है। सरकार ने पहले ही कहा था कि स्टारलिंक, Eutelsat OneWeb और Reliance Jio सहित सभी तीन सैटेलाइट संचार लाइसेंस आवेदकों को सुरक्षा मंजूरी लेनी होगी। दुबे ने संकेत दिया कि Eutelsat OneWeb और Jio को स्टारलिंक से पहले मंजूरी मिल सकती है।
