Fintech giant PhonePe is leveraging Artificial Intelligence to significantly boost operational efficiency and reduce costs. According to CTO Srijon Biswas, AI has cut down specific audit processes from four days to just three minutes, saving approximately 22 person-days per app release. The company now employs over 200 AI agents used daily by 1,600 employees, leading to a substantial decrease in voice agent costs and eliminating the need for human agents in certain KYC and onboarding workflows.
