Andhra Pradesh HRD and IT Minister Nara Lokesh has vowed stringent action against those responsible for a brutal chainsaw attack on a Class X student in Raptadu. The student, Gopika, was assaulted by a youth in her classroom on Saturday. Lokesh visited Gopika in Bengaluru's Manipal Hospital, where she underwent a 12-hour surgery. He assured her family of government support and stated that the next 48 hours are critical for her recovery. The incident has prompted the Education Department to deploy mental health counsellors to support traumatised students.

आंध्र प्रदेश के HRD और IT मंत्री नारा लोकेश ने राप्तडु में 10वीं कक्षा की छात्रा पर हुए क्रूर चेनसॉ हमले के लिए जिम्मेदार लोगों के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई का वादा किया है। छात्रा, गोपिका, पर शनिवार को एक युवक ने क्लासरूम में हमला किया था। लोकेश ने बेंगलुरु के मणिपाल हॉस्पिटल में गोपिका से मुलाकात की, जहाँ उनकी 12 घंटे की सर्जरी हुई। उन्होंने छात्रा के परिवार को सरकारी मदद का आश्वासन दिया और कहा कि उसके ठीक होने के लिए अगले 48 घंटे अहम हैं। इस घटना के बाद शिक्षा विभाग ने परेशान छात्रों की मदद के लिए मानसिक स्वास्थ्य परामर्शदाताओं को तैनात करने का फैसला किया है।
