A new 700-metre underpass at Noida's Gaur Chowk has opened for a trial run, aiming to significantly ease traffic congestion on the busy route connecting the Delhi-Meerut Expressway. Nearly 14,000 vehicles used the underpass in its first five hours, with commuters reporting substantial relief from previous long delays. Despite the positive impact, some commuters have noted uneven patches on the underpass carriageways, raising concerns about its immediate condition. The Greater Noida Authority stated they are monitoring the situation and will address any issues reported during the trial period.
