Bescom to Re-verify 5.5 Lakh Gruha Jyothi Beneficiaries

Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (Bescom) will conduct a second round of verification for approximately 5.5 lakh beneficiaries of the Gruha Jyothi scheme. These individuals failed to submit required documents or refused to provide personal details during the initial survey. The scheme aims to provide benefits to eligible households, and Bescom wants to ensure these beneficiaries do not lose out. The survey, initially set to conclude by August 31, had its deadline extended to September 30.
